Polycom’s cutting-edge research and development facility – Polycom Canada - is an integral part of our Voice Division and focuses primarily on developing VoIP desktop and conference phone products. This area has been recognized as one of the fastest growing segments of Polycom’s business.
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Software development for TCP/IP-based audio/data terminals
• TCP/IP application design and implementation
• General programming for real-time embedded communication systems
• Architecture and detailed design and development
• Written specification development
Qualifications you bring to this position include:
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (preferred) in engineering or computer science
• Five+ years of C/C++ development experience.
• Proficiency with 32-bit microprocessor development systems required
• Proficiency with programming for main-stream real-time operating systems
• Proficiency with state-of-the-art software engineering processes required
• Familiarity with packet-based communication systems preferred
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required
