Software/Digital Project Manager

Horizn is looking for a strong intermediate/senior project manager. This is a great ground floor opportunity for a detailed project manager that wants to get hands on exposure to the marketing side of the business and get involved in a well-established start-up. The PM will work closely with the management team to help deliver solutions built on top of the Horizn platform.

• Manage and deliver multiple concurrent projects on budget, on time, and on schedule
• Coordinate efforts of all team members to ensure projects flow efficiently and effectively, collaborating with the client and all internal departments (Account Services, Product Management and Engineering)
• Manage all aspects of project: scope, risk, schedule, quality, and communication
• Manage all project-related requests with the client with customer service team
• Ensure that all documentation is examined for and meets quality and accuracy requirements, including status reports, estimates and timelines
• Managing project specs and establishing estimates linked to the project
o Strong understanding of online application development.
o Produce all required project documentation
o Prepping copy documents and other creative assets for Engineering
o Maintaining and distributing meeting notes
o Creating, maintaining and enforcing project timelines
• Assist in evaluating and resolving all problems that may arise during the course of a project
• Identify ways to improve processes and suggest new tools that will facilitate the process for the team

• At least 5-7 years project management experience specific to software development and deployment
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects within strict deadlines and budgetary constraints
• Demonstrated organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Enthusiastic team player
• Ability to manage multiple and fast moving projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently
• Avid user of technology, social networks and interest in marketing
