Responsibilities and expectations of the Software Engineer position include but are not limited to:
• Design and architecture of new and current game play features and re-factoring existing code.
• Development/Enhancement/Maintenance of runtime systems including graphics, audio/video, threading, networking.
Required Current Skills:
• Experience knowledge of Direct X9.
• Excellent Knowledge of C++, and OOP.
• Experience with 3D math, physics and UI’s.
• Proficient with design patterns, STL, and templates.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional software experience.
• Organize, draft and implement design concepts
• Team Player
• Must be able to communicate proficiently in English, both written and verbal.
The ideal candidate currently possesses abilities in or experience with the win32 platform, direct X programming, MMO concepts and implementation, shaders, particle systems, collision detection and physics.
Education:
• A bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE, or other hard sciences including Math or Physics, or 4+ years equivalent experience instead of formal education.
Experience in the games industry as well as several shipped titles is a bonus.
