We are currently seeking a Software Engineer (Python) with a passion for video games. You will be building web applications, managing databases and server deployment of web-based games.
Candidate Requirements:
3+ years experience working on gaming or creative web sites and applications
Experience with programming languages(Python, PHP)
Working knowledge of web application frameworks(Django)
Working knowledge of Linux or Unix
Ability to hand code HTML, Javascript, CSS
Corporate identity experience
Strong understanding of site usability and different browser requirements/limitations
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
Great eye for high level of detail
BSc degree or equivalent experience/education
Legally permitted to work in Canada
Candidate Profile:
Self-starter who works well with a team.
Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Dynamic problem solver.
Passion for playing as well as coding video games.
Keep up to date on new industry trends
Good sense of humor
