SVP, Global Sales

As our North American based SVP of Global Sales, you will be responsible for the overall HootSuite Enterprise product revenue and the distributed sales team globally. The SVP, Global Sales will work in a matrix organization to support regional leadership, and be tightly focused on accelerating revenue growth for the Enterprise product.


  • Leadership of the Enterprise sales organization in various global regions and offices across EMEA, NA, London, APAC, LATAM) and remote field-based account executives where appropriate
  • Responsible for regional and global revenue targets along with KPI’s for the Enterprise sales organization
  • Ensure that we benchmark against the best sales teams in SaaS
  • Help establish HootSuite as THE Enterprise social relationship leader
  • Take a leadership role alongside key executives in the overall planning cycle, including annual business strategy development, enterprise product marketing and enterprise community leadership.
  • Represent the company’s enterprise product strategy and work to implement and effect change in the daily work environment
  • Ensure business and personnel practices are within the law and consistent with policies and procedures
  • Provide industry leading representation when needed at major events

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven excellence as a global enterprise sales leader with deep inside sales experience, consistent revenue achievement and accurate forecasting
  • Repeat experience with scaling inside and enterprise sales teams
  • Metrics and analytics guided decision making
  • Deep understanding of the complex sales environment and experience with the consumerization of the enterprise
  • Strong background in an executive capacity with a SaaS software company; ideally one with a freemium component
  • Degree in Business or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in both pre and post IPO software companies
  • Experience and understanding of various sales methodologies used
  • Ability to successfully influence direct reports, peers and senior leadership

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
