Clover Point is looking for a self motivated, detail orientated individual for Microsoft / Linux IT support and software Quality Assurance of Clover Point’s internal systems and software products.
Responsibilities include:
IT (Primary focus):
Routine audits of systems and software.
Performing backups.
Applying operating system updates and configuration changes.
Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
Answering technical queries from clients and Clover Point staff.
Good documentation skills.
System and infrastructure security.
Troubleshooting any reported problems.
System performance tuning.
Optimization of IT infrastructure.
Quality Assurance (Secondary focus, as required):
Creation and performance of software test plans.
Review and Approval of software, documentation and visual output.
Standards determination and documentation.
Experience with Web Application Hosting, ESRI Products, Apache, Linux and Macintosh systems would be beneficial. Potential candidates must also be willing to learn new skills.
Applicant should be fluent in spoken and written English at a graduate level and be comfortable working in a social / team environment.
