Technical Engineer

Basic Business Systems is a service leader in the computer industry and we are currently looking to add another technician to our growing service department

Responsibilities

On-site Service

  • Troubleshooting to determine and resolve the root cause of hardware or software failures
  • Complex hardware and/or software upgrades to existing equipment
  • Perform network connections for desktops, servers, hub/switches, cable management, etc.

Remote service

  • Answer technical support calls to assist existing customers in a professional manner
  • Managed remote service such as Remote Backup maintenance, Network Monitoring, and Data Protection
  • Use proprietary software to update and close service calls
    Technical Skills

    MCSE or equivalent two years experience
    Solid understanding of networking environments

    Personal Skills

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
    Demonstrate good time management skills
    Ability to take direction and follow practices and procedures consistently and accurately
    Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
