RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Providing end user support for enterprise server, data management, end user computing, telephony, and network infrastructure
• Coordinating, planning, configuring, installing and deploying network infrastructure and PC images, desktop systems, portable equipment, laptops, printers, scanners and other peripheral equipment as required (including decommissioning and disposal)
• Evaluating, testing, recommending and implementing new equipment
• Providing 1st & 2nd level technical support, resolving issues arising from equipment configuration or application use and failure
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors Degree and/or recent experience in a related discipline or combined Education & with *recent* Certification (MCP-Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 Specialist, MCSE-Server 2003 qualified, CCNA, A+ Hardware)
• Must own a vehicle and a valid B.C. Drivers License with full driving priviledges
• 3-5 years *intermediate* experience in Windows Server Support Experience including Active Directory, Win2003 server functions, core Microsoft middleware server software, & various MS Office products and all current Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems
• Solid working knowledge of SQL Database and Exchange, various enterprise-level hardware/software applications, and ITIL Configuration Management principles
• Ability to monitor and administer the health of the networks through any network management framework including open source management tools
• Working knowledge of entry-level commercial firewalls, enterprise anti-virus and backup products
