Working closely with modelers, animators and programmers, our ideal candidate should be a talented digital designer that understands interface design in theory and execution. You will prototype interface designs, menu systems, and style boards including Iconography, Motion Design and Interaction Architecture.
Applicants should have the ability to take direction from a Lead Designer and be very versatile on researching and executing on different style types.
Candidate Requirements:
2+ years current game industry experience
Experience in graphic front end design for console
Proficient in designing interfaces
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and After Effects
Able to communicate effectively with both artists and programmers
Strong experience with Maya or other 3D software packages a Bonus
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
Great eye for high level of detail
BSc degree or equivalent experience/education
Legally permitted to work in Canada
