Golfradar is a Vancouver based start-up looking for an exceptional developer to play a key role in the design and development of the ultimate Fantasy Golf experience on both web and mobile platforms.
Scheduled for launch in late spring 2012, Golfradar let’s you choose your PGA TOUR players, get sponsored, and earn points and rewards from your favorite brands.
The qualified candidate will work with the Golfradar team in the design, usability, development and launch of a unique product in the online and mobile golf space.
Requirements:
• College or prof. degree in multimedia integration
• Knowledge of UX design for creating sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes
• Familiarity and working knowledge of mobile technologies
• Ability to design and develop online experiences
• Familiarity working with APIs, Web services and third-party platforms
• Demonstrated proficiency with HTML, CSS, PHP, jQuery, web standards along with emerging technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with Wordpress and/or Drupal
• Familiarity with SEO & Social Media
Bonus Points:
• Understanding, interest and experience in online/mobile gaming behaviors
• Passion for the game of golf
Compensation:
• Initial 6 month contract with opportunity for full-time employment and potential company equity position
