JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking a Web Developer / Webmaster to help create and maintain web content. As part of a fun team of eCommerce professionals, you’ll constantly use your designing talents to define our Web-related projects.

Reporting to the CEO and the Director of Operations, your proven and diversified portfolio will allow you to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain the presentation layer of the site
  • Write clean, coherent code and to follow established coding style guidelines
  • Code for cross-browser compatibility
  • Implement creativity while producing eye-catching designs under deadline
  • Take initiative and ownership of projects

We are looking to fill a position for an Intermediate Level Web Developer / Webmaster. The ideal candidate will have a proven resume of technical skills that should include:

  • A minimum of 1 year of Web design experience (previous work in marketing and e-commerce are assets)
  • Excellent working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Java Script
  • Proficient skills with ASP and/or PHP
    The company has been in the Web site business for a decade. We are in the midst of expanding our multi-national operations and are looking for the right candidate with the right fit. Besides strong technical skills, you will also meet these communication requirements:

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Interface with 3rd parties on technical designs and issues
  • Learn quickly and work as an accountable team member
  • Project plan using time management skills
  • Multi-task while implementing problem-solving skills
