The plight of Albertans, and those affected by the wild-fires in Fort McMurray, are well known to us all. It’s a terrible situation, made more terrible by uncontrollable variables such as the weather, and the unpredictable nature of fire.
Every once and a while, something comes along that is so blatantly Canadian, and so outrageously awesome, that it’s hard to actually talk about it. It would be far easier if I just held it up—like a wallet fold-out containing pictures of my children—and shove it in people’s faces screaming “Pay attention to this!"
Moncton's Fiddlehead Technology announced today that it has received $1.8 million in seed funding led by Build Ventures. The New Brunswick Innovation Foundation also invested in the company’s seed round.
